National Night Out August 5th 2008 |

The Bergenfield Volunteer Ambulance Corps joined forces with police, fire, and other community groups to make Bergenfield's "National Night Out" a success.. During the evening, members provided free blood pressure screenings, tours of the ambulance, and a first aid station, all while responding to actual emergency calls in our community. During an extrication demonstration, EMTs worked side by side with firefighters to safely remove patients trapped in a mock automobile accident. Thanks to Captain Richard Cirelli, 2nd Lieutenant Sajith Cherian, President Lora Schade, Cindy Kneisler, Jim McLoone, Ian Rabinowitz, Ben Baum, Caroline Schade, David Lewie, Alex Sakelos, Dhara Shah and trainees Michael Then and Megan Detura for making this possible. |
