Bergenfield Volunteer Ambulance Corps, EMTs Cindy Kneisler and David Lewie await the start of the 2008 Joe Graziano NJ State Little League Tournament’s final game.

As Neighbors Helping Neighbors, the Bergenfield Volunteer Ambulance Corps welcomes opportunities to provide medical support at large community gatherings. This past week ten of our volunteer Emergency Medical Technicians provided a stand by ambulance at Hickey Field for the 2008 Joe Graziano NJ State Little League Tournament. Captain Richard Cirelli noted that while a number of patients were treated for minor injuries and released, one patient required transport to a hospital. Standing by with Capt. Cirelli were fellow EMT's Ralph Lewie, Cindy Kneisler, Robert Kirsch, Jim McLoone, Sajith Cherian, Erin Frino, Caroline Schade, David Lewie and Alex Sakelos.
